Hi Everyone!

CMND-Z is upgrading, and I am a part of this revamp!  My name is Veronica and I now host a new CMND-Z Fashion Series I call “Weekly Fashionista.”  Each week I will be featuring and discussing art, photography, CMND-Z Art Apparel, rad fellow bloggers, and all things STYLE!  This blog article will inspire and inform you.  I believe in art and fashion and their natural fuzion.  They are one in the same.  Join me as I take you through my self-expressionism of CMND-Z’s ultimate fashion sense…Welcome to our world.

CMND-Z : Desert Trends

Coachella 2011 was another epic party in the desert. Tons of inspiration and great music, and most importantly…the fashion. Whether it was at a pool party or at the festival, these desert goers know style. Hipsters, Hippies, Rockers, and Ravers. Indeed, they were ALL there. Some of the trends that were really hot this year were Indian prints, bohemian maxi dresses, big floppy hats, ankle boots, and some of my all time favorites that will never be tossed out of the closet—leather (always), feathers, fringe, and torn high waisted denim cut-offs.

While en route to Coachella, I made a stop in Joshua Tree with CMND-Z photographer Lady E to shoot some pictures overlooking the San Andreas fault line—so beautiful!! After, we passed through Pioneer Town which is located just outside of Joshua Tree in Yucca Valley. This town was built in the 1940’s as a live-in Old West motion picture set, meaning, actors could use their homes as a part of their movie set! I definitely recommend checking this out next time you’re on your way to the desert.
